Welcome to PG Department of Business Administration

The Post Graduate Department of Business Administration is one among the Twenty Post Graduate Departments of Sambalpur University, which was established in 1989 for imparting management education in this part of the state.

Presently, it runs three programme viz. two year Regular MBA Programme, three year Executive MBA programme and also three year MBA programme on distance mode of education. Specializations both major and minor in different functional areas like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource management, Systems and Productions and operation are offered by the Department. Besides, the Department conducts research programme leading to Ph.D Degree.

The Department has internet connectivity available to students and faculty members. The Department is enriched with highly qualified and dedicated teachers being educated from different Universities/Institutes like IIM (Ahmedabad). At present, more than 40 scholars are pursuing their Ph.D work under the supervision of the Department faculty members.
